| AC in the car. However, even despite this, having a different water pump doesn't affect the efficiency of the radiator. The pump is only flowing coolant through the system. I dont know of anyone who races their vehicle with the AC in operation - any car even with the mechanical fan would be compromised if one were to do that. I have since installed parts of the AC system, namely the condenser, and have an OE pump and thermostat in the engine - and not blocking off the recirculation. I took the car up to ZNationals and ran at the Talladega roadcourse - the car did not overheat there either.
